According to a transcript released Tuesday, Yanez said he thought that if Castile had "the guts and audacity" to smoke marijuana in front of the child and "risk her lungs and risk her life" with secondhand smoke, then Castile didn't care about him either.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Cops will always get away with murder when it comes to certain folks. All the cops have to do is claim they were scared and felt threatened. I don't greet them ... because they might claim I spoke to them in an aggressive manner.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

Cops will always get away with murder as long as we accept the status quo, there was a time when lynching was something cops could get away with and caucasians in general.

This reminds me of Dialo(NY vestibule) execution, the officers closest to him did not fire their weapons.
Unless the young man was left handed, it is safe to say the driver making any threatening movement would be seen by the killer cop's partner, who was on the passenger side of the car, there wasn't even a hint of a threat if we are to judge by his behaviour.
He did eventually remove himself from the line of his partner's fire, and apparently felt sure he wouldn't be called on to come to his partner's defense. Clear indicator that the actions chosen by the shooter endangered the life of the passenger .
There is no reconciling the cop being so concern about the child's lungs(let it be a warning to all cigarette smokers, well the ones from my race)and the cop pumping at least five bullets in a car in which a child(lungs and all) is seated in.

Very troubling that at least one of the parents would smoke in a car with the child in it.
Much worse is she will have to face life without one of her parents because of a cop being too quick not to give someone the benefit of the doubt, onlyto rely on that benefit to be exonerated.

The philosophical argument is it is a distinction not worth making. The primary victim of lynching is the target, the ultimate deed is to murder the person, well the same end is being achieved today.
It is lynching by a different name.
