Controlling one of the branches makes a big difference though, even if it is by just a few seats. You get to determine what comes up for vote and what doesn't.
The Senate would be better as they would be able to block any more Supreme Court nominations but winning that may be more difficult for Dems than the House this time around.

The American voter, especially the “average” American (poor/working class/middle class), has gotten exactly what they deserve = When voters “worship” politicians and refuse to see & treat them as THEIR EMPLOYEES, then the congress & senate will continue to TREAT THEM WITH CONTEMPT.
As to whether the Democrats can win back the Senate next year: The Democrats taking control of the senate or congress will NOT be the solution = It would be like covering a festering wound with a bandage…….The solution is average Americans DEMANDING that their elected politicians make decisions & enact laws that will benefit them and improve their quality of life, and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. That requires an educated/informed & aware American electorate and sometimes PAIN can be the best educator, so let’s hope Trump & the Trumpsters kicking their @$$ will be the remedy.Comment
