Between a yaad man , and a man.

Blocked on the verandah by Baker, Francis *– who reportedly claimed he wanted to see his two stepchildren, Ophelia's children – allegedly spilled what is believed to have been gasoline from the “jug” on himself as well as Baker, and struck a lighter.

Fire immediately engulfed the two, but Baker would not yield – grappling and throwing punches to keep Francis away.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

      Food for thought :

It’s our moral imperative as a society to take care of our young people. Serious psychiatric illness, 75 percent of it, occurs before the age of 24. So it's not unusual that we're going to see college-age kids suffering more than anybody else.”

Children begin to face high risks for experimentation with marijuana and hashish between 13 and 14 years. Risks for the initiation into crack/cocaine begin at ages 15 and 16.

It is believed 16 is the pivotal year for adolescents, who face increasing peer pressure to experiment with drugs and alcohol, while being “afforded a greater degree of adult status by their parents.” After 18, risks for alcohol and marijuana decline and by age 22 the risk has nearly ended.

So the age where we are most likely to see mental illness and kids experiment with drugs basically mix & wash, compounded in all this is the financial hardship of being an individual financial entity a (man/woman),now you put those individuals in an economic war zone like Jamaica, what the hell do you expect ?

What is the convenient excuse in a third world nation that deals in superstitions from the illeterate to outright ignorance from the academics (Delahaye) ?
