"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.
"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
Heard on the news this morning the Minister saying that since the decriminalization ganja use has become a free for all. Is he incorrect?
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

I will add the addiction scale of ganja ranking
Nicotine (cigarettes) , heroin, cocaine, alcohol, caffiene ( coffee) and ganja has it listed at the bottom of the list, guess which one is number 1 ?
I will give you an anectode about ganja from a caucasian lady who did her residency in JA, she treated an elderly man who was on blood pressure medication and refused to take them for weeks she asked why he said, he is taking a cleanse, she asked what is he cleansing with he replied " ganja tea" she consulted with the senior chief after she was flipping out , he said to her its working " leave him alone ", she assessed him and passed him with exceptional health.
Ganja is cultural , its not going anywhere ! The use might increase , i will give him that( MAD MAN -DELA HAYE ) classifying it as a mental health hazard is another thing, when people use it in a cultural way.

I know you're passionate about the weed but where did the addiction argument come in? The man said free for all, he said nothing about addiction.
The study that was used to reach the conclusion was an outdated report. Before anyone can be certain of anything a new study will have to be done.
