  • Too Much Power In Cops' Hands

    By Linton Gordon

The recent announcement by the Government that such of policy will be pursued and implemented by the police is not the best option for addressing crime. It is also not the first occasion on which effort is being made to address the matter of domestic violence.

That is one concern I have, too much powers in the hands of the police. However, every time there is a proposal there is always another side presented and nothing gets done. The fact of the matter is the matter needs to be addressed and the continuous tip toeing around the issue is not solving the problem. INDECOM exist and they are there to keep the police in check. Mr. Gordon seems to side step that. We need to start somewhere.
