  • PNP got a flogging last night in the local government

elections. This is not unusual immediately following a general election but it does appear that the PNP performed worse than they did in the close February elections.

Comrade Leader Simpson did not show at PNP headquarters, leaving it up to the outgoing and incoming General Secretaries to concede defeat and console the crowd.

It is becoming more apparent that the PNP leadership knows that Portia needs to go and that renewal of the party requires it , but they also know that taking her on would damage their own future in the party, like Seaga's JLP before her.

The only other option is to wait her out and hope that eventually she will walk away on her own terms.

Lol,as the capital has to cope with internal conflicts among a bunch of well behaved labourites, with racketeering being the motive.
In essence ruling out Kingston as a tourist attraction...
Maybe the well behaved gang of deceased Dawgie spends all its time handling internal desputes and therefore has nothing to do with scamming, whey yuh get fu yuh intel fram???

20 years from now Kartel youngest son will be white as chalk and the king of dancehall.
Titty Man son will be running Western Kingston.
Sir X and Paul Marin will still be at war,and most certainly,Burrell will still be the head of the JFF.
What, however,we will not see is the JLP being the government for three consecutive terms.
