    The Democratic Party is now in more trouble than

    the Republican Party. In the Republican Party there are major divides, but as of January they will control all branches of Federal govt, most state governorships, most state houses. The Dems will have almost nothing.

    Obama and his successes gave the Dems a false sense of security. Now he that he is on his way out the party may be lost in the wilderness for a while. Sad!

    On the contrary,thats what makes this nation great continued rebirth,i see the Bernie and Warren movement,shaping a progressive agenda for the next candidate, a younger Bernie.

    Has to be seen as anti establishment.

        I look at HRC ,and I just shake my head ,what was her message ? Bernie gave her a message (molded) her ,then she met trump,it turned to defining Trump as worse than her.Then it turned to defending Obama's legacy ,after Obama started campaigning this last month.

        I feel like she played me.To be honest this might be the best thing for the democratics,HRC got less latino votes than Obama, at a time when her candidadte was giving Latinos a million and 1 reason to vote.

        She deserved to lose !

          It's like she only wanted to be President to say she was the first woman to do it.

                    I get the feeling that Michelle now wants to be as far away from politricks as she can get. Her family has endured enough for the cause.

                      Agreed. She wants to get away as fast and as far as possible. The problem though, is that deep sense of service to the people that permeate throughout the Obama family that might pull her back into politics. The Democrats has to now start molding their next candidate, and there is a long list of qualified persons for the job.

                        Well, the rebuild start with electing a Democratic Governor to replace Fat Bastard when that sorry SOB finally rolls out of office.

                        I guess he will be at the Whitehouse as Trump's food taster.

                          The Rebuilding: Dont build another disaster


                          The Clinton campaign was a disaster. Let’s never do anything like it again. Let’s never again have a campaign in which people were constantly having to defend the indefensible. Let’s never again run on “experience” rather than values. Let’s never again treat everything as fine when it clearly isn’t. (Let’s also never again underestimate Donald Trump. The man is wily. He may have never read a book in his adult life. But he knows how to win an election. Calling him stupid, or treating him as stupid, misses the point. For a “stupid” man, he sure showed the elites.)

                          * Voter enthusiasm carried Trump
                          * Trump had one message - outsider -agent of change
                          * Clinton- Many mssgs - except (change agent)

                          Yuh see the problem, now we need to find the solution (give the people what they want ) , the dems will be fine, the Clintons are gone.

                            Clinton and Obama lacked commitment and conviction when dealing with the NRA,both were quick to backslide on the matter when it became clear neither would have a chance of getting elected without the blessings of the NRA.
                            Yeah the DNC will effect changes but those changes will invariably be geared towards winning over that sect that Hillary labeled racists,etc. It means overtly throwing my people under the bus because doing it covertly got them nothing.
                            They will not entertain socialist ideologies.
