  • FBI director needs to resign before the next

President takes office. His credibility is shot and I suspect he has lost control of some officers with a political agenda.

With the Clinton email investigation now over (again) but the Clinton Foundation one still active, how will anyone have any confidence in whatever conclusion they arrive at especially if it is a negative one for Clinton.

Whether he resigns or not he definitely will not be there for much longer much less to see out his tenure

The problem is that if she was the one to fire him and appoint someone else while the Clinton Foundation investigation is still active, the optics of that is not good for a new president. That is the kind of situation that got Nixon impeached. However if she figures they are going to impeach her anyway perhaps nothing will be lost.

As I say ,Washington is looking like a Banana Republic. They would do well to leave other nations election processes and governments alone until they sort their problems out.

He was criticized in both sides for his actions of imposing the f I and himself into the electioneering. Hard to see him overcoming that

Easy , to do in this climate , dont be seen or heard, stop hogging the media light .The last FBI director , i would have to google his name up to remember who he is .

If he holds one more press conference , he needs to go.

Really now. Listen to Rudy Giulani show off about a surprise, admit that he knew about the e-mails and tell us how would you stop Trump and Rudy from announcing days before the election that your FBI found 650,000 and
failed to tell Congress about it as planned. The FBI Director deserves a medal and a promotion from Hillary.

You don't have to stop them from leaking. You just respond that emails were found but it is not known if these are new or emails already reviewed. Thats all. What he did with his first letter was imply , whether intentionally or not, that these were new emails.

He dealt with it poorly and potentially did Clinton damage.

Once the public heard that 650,000 e-mails were found on a laptop then they would have to believe that some were new. The only way to deal with that was a promise to compare with what they had and that promise had to be made before Trump leaked it.
