Private deals dominate logistics hub development – Deans

In a May 2016 article, executive editor of the online portal Logistics Management quoted Paul Rasmussen, US trade expert and CEO of Zepol, as stating “The Jamaican Government has signed a preliminary agreement with one of China’s leading construction companies for the development of a trans-shipment hub off its south-west coast.” He added, “This could pose a big threat to some of the smaller ports in Florida.”
