Man Drives Car WITH MAN STUCK IN WINDSHIELD

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN

An allegedly drunk driver struck two pedestrians, then drove six blocks, and parked the car in his garage WITH ONE OF THE VICTIMS STUCK IN HIS WINDSHIELD.

The driver called police about six hours after the incident, saying he thought he had hit somebody. When the police arrived, they found the
victim, a 50-year-old man, still lodged inside the windshield. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, a woman, is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Steve Warriachet, 40, the driver, was arrested and will face several very serious charges.

This has happened already. About 4 years ago, I think it was a woman who had hit a man and parked him, still in the windshield, in the garage. Autopsy indicated that the man might have lived if the woman had called the medics when it happened. He bled to death overnight.
