Anyhow, a great story that warms the soul.
It reminds me of my frequent visits to St. Bess. My farmer friends would offer me a couple carrots and watermelon to take home (Kingston). The trunk would be loaded when they're done! I'd be drinking carrot juice for days!

Yeah that a the real country life. People offering you all kind a farm produce even when you can't take it.
