I have never seen anything quite like this. A few years ago those tsunamis were the most unbelievable natural disasters I have seen. And now this! Hollywood is known for these fantasy trips but the only thing left is for the world to spin backwards on its axis.

I have a cousin who owns a farm two hours drive south of Ft McMurray and he also owns an apt.in Ft. McMurray. He doesn't know what's happened to the apt. but he says so far, where he is things are ok. Hi daughters who live (lived now I guess) in Ft Mc were evacuated. They're ok.

It's really very early in the season for fires especially one of this magnitude. Did any say "climate change"? I was in Calgary at Easter and the place was dry as a bone... very little snowfall this winter, and probably in places farther north too, like Ft Mc. Pray for rain.
