He's just full of ideology without the plan to implement his ideas

It's best that a socialist sticks to ideology which is fairly harmless. When they move forward with plans to implement is where you get total disaster.

                    This is how -
Scandinavian income taxes raise a lot of revenue because they are actually rather flat. In other words, they tax most people at these high rates, not just high-income taxpayers. The top marginal tax rate of 60 percent in Denmark applies to all income over 1.2 times the average income in Denmark. From the American perspective, this means that all income over $60,000 (1.2 times the average income of about $50,000 in the United States) would be taxed at 60 percent.
Sweden and Norway have similarly flat income tax systems. Sweden’s top marginal tax rate of 56.9 percent applies to all income over 1.5 times the average income in Sweden. Norway’s top marginal tax rate of 39 percent applies to all income over 1.6 times the average Norwegian income.
Compare this to The United States. The top marginal tax rate of 46.8 percent (state average and federal combined rates) kicks in at 8.5 times the average U.S. income (around $400,000). Comparatively, few taxpayers in the United States face the top marginal rate.
It would be interesting if Bernie ever mentions that.

The post debate polls will show that Bernie won last night's debate by a landslide. It will not be close, it will be by a landslide.

I live 50 miles from the Canadian border and the have universal health care and it is not a communist country. (Bernie Saunders.)

The Canadian tax rates does not appear to be as high as the Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The biggest barrier to universal debt care compared to Canada is the defense budget. It costs a lot to be the world's policeman.

It seems to me that Bernie spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem. The fix-it...just hardly ever seemed to come thereafter.

...and that is what many are not looking at. Take the discussion about the $15 minimum wage. Hillary is more cautious as she is looking at both sides of the equation .... Bernie only looking at one side. He said something to the effect .... "yes a burger might cost a bit more...." what he isn't looking at is what if the cost is now out of the reach of some of the consumers?

I find that Bernie says the right things, but when pressed he has no plans behind it.

He has no plans because plans, at least workable ones, require practicality and that does not sit well with idealism.

You do not just raise the minimum wage without it having some impact, not just on consumers but on the people who may potentially be hired at minimum wage. That is not to say raising it is a BAD thing necessarily, just that it has consequences, and some may my unintended.

Same thing with universal health care, free college education and all the rest of the promised freeness. Can they be done? Yes it is done in some parts of the world. Is there a cost? Yes, and sometimes a very large one. Is it worth it? Well that depends on a lot of variables , sometimes it may be, sometimes it isn't.
