The US Auto Industry!
-----------
When Donald Trump threatened to “break” the North American Free Trade Agreement, auto industry workers offered up some of the loudest cheers.

Could a US completely "closed auto industry" produce the total number of Auto Industry jobs than 'Free Trade' would?
What happens after such a "closed auto industry" has produced the maximum number of auto jobs the "closed" US market can bear?
- Would these twin disadvantages - i) Other countries, perhaps chief among those Asian countries, produce huge auto industry/auto industry associated jobs as their markets explode? - Hey markets outside of the US dwarfs that within the US; ii) US economy of scale with the auto industry leads to inevitable 'bursting of the dam' one day - US consumer pent up demand for the cheaper external products leads to cracks in that "closed market" - and thus 'the end of the US auto Industry?
...but here is the immediate question: Would the current US auto industry be as robust as it is today as it concerns total numbers of "auto industry and its associated jobs"?
