Just think on this, Trump and Sanders make the following claims or at the least represent or put forward the following:-
- Our economy is in the tank!

This is on the strongest and most robust economy in the world.

- Trade: In absolute terms international trade deals have caused the loss of jobs, hundred of thousands of jobs in the United States!

This in the face of omission of benefits these trade policies bring to the US in terms of keeping US workers in jobs and expanding job opportunities in US.

- They use the Hitler-like tactic of either repeated outright lies - (...and insinuate or loudly and publicly label those opponents who call them out on the lies as liars) - or obliquely suggest same.

Repeat a lie often enough...vast numbers eventually accept it as truth!

To be fair the Republicans have for decades invested in that 'art' of repeated lies morphing into 'truth' for some appreciable numbers of US citizens.

- They both espouse 'going authoritarian' on leadership.

Bernie: Plants the thought of white/black divide. Hillary only wins contests because large numbers of blacks vote for her without even a nod to the white %age of the population.

Trump: Makes no bones of his racist tendencies.

- They both promise what they cannot deliver as they ignore the reality of some appreciable numbers of Republicans in the Congress who shall not go along with their promises.

So obvious this does not even demand a 'good look'.

There is a slowly growing realization that these guys have a real shot at becoming our next US president and, if they actually believe what they say, being smart persons knowing exactly what it is they say, there is reason to believe that each is racist and a dictator in the making!!!

It would be a bit of an exaggeration (in my view) to say that they are two sides of the same coin, but I have made the argument here before that the movements they are leading are closer than many of us realise. They make similar arguments about what they see as the problems, but with different tones.

It is quite likely that a not insignificant number of Bernies people would vote for Trump over Hilary in a general election.

Hillary doesn't have the charisma of an Obama or of most politicians but I like her work ethics and her composure. She is and has been a hard worker from her college days. She went about her business taking up causes without seeking political glory and when she became Secretary of State, she practically ran herself in the ground travelling all over the world repairing the damage done by Bush. Forget about the rhetoric from the Repugs about America being weak, when Obama came into power, most of the US allies were reeling from the worldwide recession and the bond was weaker than it is today. She represents the best of all evils that is running for the office today.
