  • Lazie, and soca lovers

Today and tomorrow is the big fete in T&T... madness on d road. I park up home catching up on some stuff... but here is a soca tune for you soca lovers. I am not a big soca lover, but the African influence in this makes it a little different:

I just saw on the TV a girl dressed in traditional Indian wear dancing to this on the stage... doing an indian dance to a song with obvious African influence.

Thank you! I've heard the Flipo before, the others I need to get familiar with.

That Olatunji chune is not soca. Straight Afro-pop!

That's why I love that tune I guess... they calling it Afro-Soca; when I first heard it I thought it was direct from Nigeria/Ghana/West Africa... or wherever in Africa that beat originates!
