No other country in the world holds a candle to Jamaica, where just under 60 percent of all managers are women, according to the ILO. Colombia, the country with the second highest percentage of female bosses, manages 53 percent. In Saint Lucia, which is third among the 106 countries for which the ILO found data, the number is 52.3 percent.
This reflects the gender crisis in education where boys are failing badly relative to girls....starting ~30 years ago.

Look for that % of women biz managers to reach ~70% in say 15 years This silly article treats it as if it's "progress"

The JA number would just about match the current academic performance gap where ~70% of "high performers" in secondary schools are girls....and ~70% of tertiary grads are females

Yet amidst this SYSTEMIC CRISIS what dominates dumb Jamaicans prattle about education is "traditional vs non-traditional".....or "school rankings" or "sports ruining schools" People fi fool...but nuh suh

It's the 21st Century folks....Past time to put away foolish 19th & 20th Century things

Yep, it's only going to get worse...erm...Jamaica will become more and more of a gynarchy before it reverses to some sort of equilibrium.

Interesting to note that, when men ruled the world, including Jamaica, we all thought that was the way it pose to be. No one was concerned about the "underperforming" or "marginalised" women.

Now that we men are getting our a$ses kicked, it's a crisis.
