  • Will the DPP show the Contractor General who is the boss?

The DDP ruled that the actions happened but were NOT criminal offences. Points awarded, DDP 1, Contractor General 0. The Contractor General appealed to the court and the DPP reversed course court before the court could rule. Points awarded DPP -1, Contractor General 0. Score, DDP 0, Contractor General 0.

Bottom line is that the DPP is the real boss is this criminal charges game and INDECOM and the Contractor General are irritating the DPP. Let's see if the DPP will give the go ahead for criminal charges then stop the trial once it starts. That is how the DPP shows who has the final word on criminal charges.

Paula should be embarrassed ,she was so adamant in claiming that she thoroughly examined the related laws, and made a sound judgement not to proceed. She even made taunting statements directed at CG in the media only to quickly tuck her tail between her legs when the CG brought the issue to the Supreme Court. She has since made concessions thereby giving credence to the very points the CG made to her. What new info did she stumble on that would explain her complete reversal?
We will continue to pay for her oversights.

      This is a constitutional problem.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

She has not won a major case since she became DPP that says something. She cv not be summarily removed though and has no shame so expect more of the same.

Seems she comes to the conclusion first and then rationalzes afterwards rather than let the facts take her to the conclusion

Why is the X6 killer still out there?

Where is the Cash Plus boss?

How many more cases did the DPP reject in her familiar, wordy, measured and arrogant way?

She needs to be sent packing!

How do you send a DPP packing?

DDP says that the fine for this case is $1000. It is worth it?

That would be a dangerous reason not to prosecute.

There must be ways to send a DPP packing. We can start by public pressure.

A believe the constitution does make provisions for this. And if it doesn't, then it needs to!

Are you giving her too much credit here? It is more about the system, all the cases that have been held up and can't try which include, Ninja Man, Trafigura, All the police cases, Vaz case.

The fact is they (including her) know the longer these case take, the longer they go on the more chance it is for these people to walk free. It is about politics, connections and corruption. She and others should go.

What is there to try in the Trafigura case?

Thought the Vaz case was already tried?!?!

No Ninja is still on bail

The Dutch waiting for evidence from the PM and others to charge Trafigura.
The last was they were very frustrated as the Jamaicans keep putting if off.

Vaz case may let go as but the last I heard it there wasn't any mention in court.

Re the bolded item - can the DPP force the PM (or the PNP) to send the information?
