Facebook activated its "Safety Check" feature following Tuesday's blast, after users said it seemed that deaths elsewhere didn't matter as much as the deaths in Paris. The social networking site activated the feature for a terrorist attack for the first time after Friday's attacks in the French capital, when 129 people were killed by Islamic State militants, but failed to activate it when more than 40 people were killed in suicide bombings in Beirut on Thursday, also claimed by the extremists, known as ISIS or ISIL
