Obama geo political plan is working,Amanpour is being ignorant or disingenuous, any western government that goes into Syria without the backing of the credible government will be the focus of these extremists,Obama and his generals ,CIA etc calculates that Europe will be the first battle ground,and as these extremists agitate Europe,Europe will react.

Well russia is involved with the blessings of Assad and Iran,Europe is being dragged into it,which is good,so America can easily dictate terms on how to lead.

Isis has started lashing out since Russia got involved,a major town has been taken by Assad,they have begun to push them back,how has Isis reacted,they have bombed all its enemies,in turkey,Lebanon,Russia airplane and now France, to me that's a sign of weakness,the reciprocal effect by the west ,more bombings on a gigantic scale by Russia.

The ramifications from that is Isis breaking down,splinter groups of terrorist going back home to Europe and the middle East and North Africa to create havoc,which will lead to more of a clamp down

Isis will be defeated militarily ,the ideology will take awhile longer to defeat because that entails dealing with frustration of poverty hijacked by ideology.

You could start by insisting that they stop funding some of these extremist groups, which they have never stopped doing.

Victory over ISIS means they are no longer capable of executing large scale terrorist attacks.

You may ask what is "large scale" , I don't have an exact definition but I know it generally has certain characteristics such as: dozens or hundreds of victims, multiple coordinated events within a short period of time, evidence of expert planning and logistics in execution.

Unless you keep those within ISIS willing to die below 10 members...at all times...it shall be impossible to stop "large scale" atrocities.

The key to understanding the concept is; understanding that it takes 1 (person) to create an act of "large scale mayhem". Fact is, one individual working alone is infinitely more difficult...virtually impossible to uncover if that person is 'smart'.

One or two persons might execute it, but typically it takes more than that to plan and fund it if it is of a certain magnitude. Takes even more to continually recruit and train.

These ISIS guys are not hurry-come-ups, they are using social media, data encryption, explosives technical expertise, etc.

They also have a LOT of money. Where do they get it? Verily I say unto you, look to the (middle) East where you shall find the allies of the West, it is they who are responsilbe for these things.

Maybe so, but it is clear that ISIS and Al Queda have used cells and training bases to prepare their foot soldiers. Why? Because it is more effective for their type of operations.
