    This Repug debate is what will fix the immigration problem!

    Do these immigrants hear how badly their new country is doing? 1% growth?! Even Peter Phillips doing better than that!

    And can someone explain something to mi? The Repugs have been saying that Barack's new jobs are low-paying, yet they all have a problem raising the minimum wage...what am I missing?

                Well raising the minimum raise is not a "fix" for low paying jobs. It is more of a temporary relief until prices adjust and the spending power of the minimum wage worker is more or less the same as it was before.

                Only real fix for low paying jobs is a strong economy and the upgrade of skills to fit the jobs which are in demand and hence better paying

                    Yeah, I get that but...minimum wage is pathetically low. Looks odd to squeal about having higher paying jobs while condemning people to eke out a living on minimum wage!

                          GDP growth is not economic growth. Jamaican economy has not grown by 1% over the past few years. "Growth" normally refer to economic growth not GDP.
