THREE men last week appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for reportedly beating a man after they saw him holding onto his penis in his shorts while sleeping.
Fifty-four-year-old vendor Randy Livingston; Janil Barette, 25; and 19-year-old scrap metal worker Wayne Richards -- all of Grove Road in Kingston -- reportedly set upon the 56-year-old complainant and beat him after calling him a "b... man".
The incident reportedly took place in the Grove Road community on September 5.
The court was told that about 6:30 am on the day in question, the complainant was inside his room sleeping when he was awakened by Livingston who saw him sleeping with his hands inside his shorts and said to him: "Wha kinda ting dat you a do? Lef de area."
The complainant reportedly replied: "Fi wha? Mi a go call police."
It was further reported that other men joined Livingston inside the complainant's room and started to condemn him.
"Man have h... inna han' a sleep, a slackness dat!" and "Dat a b.... man ting, dog," were some of the insults reportedly hurled at the complainant.
The complainant reportedly ran from the room and went to hide but was found by the accused men who used a piece of stick to beat him in his head, causing him to black out.
According to the complainant, when he regained consciousness he found himself inside a police station.
