  • Respect the Senate, Senator Malahoo-Forte!

I love the pic in the Gleaner! Imani is like, "chat to mi back!", while Marlene tells Angela, "talk to the hand!" Angela is saying, "WTF!"

And then they say Portia is a virago! Never see Portia inna dem cass-cass yet!

ah bwoy .... aj Nicholson wasn't kidding when he suggested that she have long memory!

anyway, obviopusly a decision has been made to make the female senators deal with this.

my take .... sad sad sad ...... the senate is now being used for trivial and naked politicking on both sides.

having promised to provide the letter in a public way in the senate, she owed it to the speaker to address the issue of whether or not she had and/or would provide the letter as requested. the meal that was made of her failure to do so, is sad.

the letter either exists or it doesn't. they say chuck provided copies over the weekend, if so it exists and so this distasteful episode becomes ado nothing, or is it that the issue of the letter is a sideshow?

either way, it is deplorable how this has evolved.

It appears from the article that this was not a one-off event on the part of Marlene. That I think is the reason why it got to this.

there was an incident the day before where she flirted with contempt charges...but the letter thing need not have gotten to this with chang alluding to "feminine products" by way of an explanation as to why she sent for her handbag while she was in the bathroom....it has just gotten real ugly real fast.

What was the document that she asked the Senate president's sect to copy? He confirmed that his sec. did copy a document for the lady.
