What question did you ask? "Is this a legacy of colonization????"

    I don't think I got a response.

      Okaaay Johnny , lata.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

As I said, is ongly Mike henry mi ever hear char bout dis in Gordon House.

While I do agree on the sustance (though I know we wont ever see anything labelled reparations), an official apology would be nice and some "special devt assistance" would be welcome. naah hold mi breath though and we dont "need" it. We have it in our powers to lift up ourselves and kick some azz rather than seeking external validation of who we are.

Remember, its dem great granfather did it to our Greats, but is these present Ticians who did it to US.

As to Seaga, him did have big chat bout attacking the RAND back in Apartheid days, but I dont recall him supporting reparations calls.

You can't just give up because the task is difficult and appears insurmountable. We have to keep pushing. Babylon will give in. They always do. The world is changing. The pigs will not have their way forever. Not in Jamaica, not in England, not in Africa, not in the US.

You have to understand why Bricky is not so enthused about reparations. He would not be deserving of any since he already got compensated.

HL, how would you rate PJ's letter?
Very Brilliant. I too was unaware of slave payoff portion of our history.

I guess we don't have long to wait for a response from Cameron.

So, after an apology...then what? Reparations?.? .........................

The title of prime minister seems to be a shackle .... I doubt pj would have written this letter if he was the sitting prime minister

                      Very good observation!

I am almost sure that the government was placed in a room and scolded on their behavior and decorum prior to Cameron's visit.

A far as I am concerned, the appropriate protest response by the JAMAICAN government...would be to refuse Cameron's visit based on the historical facts. In other words, tell him to go fcuk himself. DIPLOMACY can only get you so far.

I agree with PJ on this, but also ask for reparations from Jamaica politicians for what they have done to us!
