Was watching Rachel Madow last night on that topic. Chances are Bohner will hang around until they figure things out, but if he refuses they will have to get creative.

Apparently it is not required that the Speaker comes from a sitting member of Congress. It can be anybody really. There has been talk of someone like Newt Gingrich coming back as an interim leader under the House Republicans can find someone acceptable from within their ranks.

Alternatively, some of them could join with some of the Democrats to elect a "bipartisan speaker". I think that is even less likely and would escalate the civil war they are now fighting on the Republican side.

Well they haven't fallen yet. Right now them celebrating victory having taken down two so-called RINOs.

Like typical insurgents they are good at attacking the enemy and creating chaos but when time comes to lead they are not really up to it.

Big money are currently enjoying their ROI. Example: the cost of investigating the so-called Bengazi incident. The truth came out when McCarthy opened his mouth the 2nd day after the speaker resigned.
