Jamaicas victory in this ganja war comes from decriminalizing the herb anything else is a residual benefit, as for ganja and Marley, Bob has been commercialized since his death, why get upset because ganja is the new thing, why should Rasta be the exclusive benefactors of this so called ganja boom in Jamaica, its a cultural herb that the law victimnized its use culturally, not just Rastas and many a common folk felt the weight of the erronous law.

The war on drugs is a babylon initiative so is the decriminalization move, our motives as a nation should be to protect our cultural interest, Rasta is just a part of it.

Lesson to Rasta , organise yuh self, babylon forever di bandit.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Maybe baldhead Marley would have fared just as good with Europeans etc but my bet is Rasta played an important role in bridging..
Michael Manley represents a dying breed of politicians;a true public servant he was.
Similarly, you can't separate Bob from his philosophical approaches, that should remain evident in all things Marley.
This Marley initiative is driven by self interest!

True people need to seperate Bob the man from Bob the (inc), like they have done with Martin - watered him down to i have a dream and Mandela to an amicable forgiver.

Babylon will forever spin it for their benefit, know the game, its not as if Rasta dont expect it.

        Organise.
