    But I remember not so long ago when people use to gwaan like police killing innocent or unarmed people coulda never happen.

          When Dudus was finally caught,he begged for his life.
          It is inconceivable that a Jakan mother would do nothing to stop agents of the state from murdering one of her offsprings(in this case it was two),she had to be facing unimaginable dangers for her maternal instincts to be subdued.All the quotes attributed to the young men that were killed point to them believing they will be killed,and the survivors all credit their being alive to the intervention of a thoughtful officer or soldier.
          What kind of security operation ..?
          Jakans have a right to match unnecessary deadly force by security forces,it may very well be proactive too.
