  • Meet Sanneta Myrie

I like her and I don't give a damn where she places in Miss World.

Thank God, next time lest hope she is black, the locks open the door.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

        Only Brickie....LOL.

I am more interested in the young girls in Jamaica who will see her and what she has accomplished off the stage. Grill work or no grill work.

I know what you mean but for me she has enough pigmentation to pass that test.

She certainly has enough time to correct any dental problem she has.

I hear Gully Bop didn't take up that offer from the dentist. Maybe he can give Sanneta a call instead.

                    Good Post, But Disappointing Statement

Good post, I’man, except for your surprising, rather disappointing statement above, which is probably your way of making a concession to the racist/ridiculously class concerned forumites here.

Regardless of what some people have tried to imply, the fact is that Sanneta Myrie and ALL of those other Miss Jamaica World contestants before her have been Jamaican. That is ALL I need to know.

I plan to do a separate thread on this topic.

Without a doubt they are all Jamaican , but we have clearly had a tendency to select lighter skinned, straight hair (real or fake) women in our national beauty contests. That behaviour reinforces the belief that the European standard of beauty is what we should strive for.

That is very damaging to the confidence of our girls, much more so than winning a dozen Miss World titles could ever compensate for.
