The story of a woman paying $60,000 to another for assistance in getting a US visa elicited laughter in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.
The accused woman, Suzette Charlton, reportedly used a red liquid to mark an "x" on the complainant's forehead and arm and told her to repeat Psalm 23.
The marks would ensure that she was easily recognised by the accused woman's Embassy "link", who was going to give the complainant the visa.
"Jamaica, Jamaica," RM Pusey chuckled, amidst laughter from the court.
