Babylon has its faults...but if one were to compare the rate of police killings US vs Jamaica ...it's no contest

If the US cops were killing (largely Black & Latino) folks at Jamaica's rate... that would be ~50/day.

The US population is ~100X Jamaica's so a better comparison model is a rate of killing per 100K people...
JA cops kill at ~8/100K
US cops kill at ~.3/100K

The real huge issue with US police and its Injustice System generally is the rate of incarceration of Blacks.

1/3 of Black men in the USA can expect to go to jail in their lifetime

The US incarceration rate for Black men is 10X China's total incarceration rate


Basically America has been at war with Black men since we were brought here in chains....and continues a devastating but stealthy war against us to this day

Rates formed from a common baseline are important. It's the best way to compare statistical outcomes from divergent sets of data.

So in this case even though the US police kill many more citizens than Jamaican cops do...US police are far less murderous overall because the intensity of their killing is much lower than their JA counterparts.

However if we were to break out the Black population and calculate the rate of killing by US police of Black men (they hardly kill our women)...then the picture shifts dramatically.

The rate of US cops killing Black men would be closer to JA's overall rate. Of course JA cops basically ONLY kill Black men...

The TG incursion resulted in the death of over 70 people(all males ranging from teenagers to young adult),the victims in Waco numbered much more and they were newborns ,toddlers,young ,old,females and males.That gets lost in statistics that pretty much paints a picture that the US has more claim to moral authority.Then there is the issue of the victims of Iraq and elsewhere where those victims are mirror images of those of Waco.
