Obama's ISIS Strategy is????

Two completely different groups. They fought with al-Quaeda during the Iraqi insurgence & then sent into fighters into Syria when the civil war started. al-Quaeda has pretty much distanced itself from them a couple years ago. ISIS (ISIL) operates & has "influence" in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Lebanon & Nigeria, so they pretty much capitalize where there is trouble & chaos.

I still think it is, "The peoples of the various countries have to solve their problems. Not the US troops!" I rather like that policy. ...that additional part of the policy is, "set foot innah fi mi country or threaten her in any way and there shall be hell to pay!!!"

Incidentally that brings me to the GOPers' and Don1's objection to the gathering of the meta-data...

Two tweeny things: It does not stop that same intrusion being carried out by other nations...and...what happens when it ends and we will not know who those who mean us harm call, when they call, and what they are taking about???? Guess it is great to die preserving our privacy...even as there would be no privacy to preserve as of the day "dem lick aff wi ead"? Right?

Would you give "fighter jets, helicopters, etc." to these Iraqi troops who are presently abandoning their weapons & artillery, thereby giving ISIL more fire power???

I would not have taken their money ,besides,at least on the face of it,not having the blqck hawk helicopters etc is said to be the obstacle..
In any event the democratization of Iraq army was televised for all to see during the unjustified invasions.

The US in effect set the stage for the creation of ISIS via the illegal Iraq war (also the Afghan war although that is more defensible) and other regime change ops it supported throughout the Middle East which overthrew or undermined regional governments.... Egypt, Syria, Libya etc The result is absolute chaos in the region. This is in the interest of a few "folks"

Neo-cons in the US govt system use ISIS to better engage their strategy of permanent war & chaos

This situation is waaaayyyyy bigger than Obama... It's about the Military Industrial Complex and the Oligarchs who wield power behind the scenes

Don't believe everything you read & hear, and if they can't effectively use the artillery how would they use the Blackhawk helicopters & other sophisticated military equipment......Have you seen what has happened to the helicopters, etc. that's in Afghanistan???

It should be demoralization instead of democratization ,I must admit the mistake itself has its merits though.
USAF,my guess is future attempts of getting all the arab countries to speak with one voice will always be met with weariness because this attempt by a sick group.It is therefore part of the agenda to see it runs its full course.
