  • I don't understand this! How come

the opposition is now being BLAMED for what led to the embarrassment from the Woolmer incident? Who been ruining the country for the past 18 years? The gov't or the opposition? Who been promising a public morgue for the last decade?

David Wong Ken is ****************ed that a commission is now to investigate how the Woolmer case was investigated, but no commission was set up for Janice Allen, Michael Gayle etc. Who ordered the investigation of the investigation? The gov't or the opposition? Bout time people realise that as Jamaicans we have no rights.

People have been electing bafoons since 89, but when dem fock up the easiest thing to do is blame the opposition? A whey dem yah people come from?

JLP calls Woolmer Commission a waste of time

"A grand waste of time” is how Opposition Spokesman on National Security, Derrick Smith has described the Commission established to review the investigation into the death of Pakistan's Cricket Coach, Bob Woolmer.

Mr. Smith says instead of carrying out a review, the National Security Ministry should address the deficiencies which led to the foul-up in the post mortem.

“We know what the problem is. The Government hasn’t built the morgue which they should have built 18 years ago. They haven’t provided the forensics people with the facilities and equipment that they need. We know exactly what will be found out.

“So it is our view that it really is just a waste of time and just perhaps a clumsy way of deflecting responsibility from the Ministry of National Security for employing a pathologist that’s obviously not competent.”

The Woolmer Commission, which will headed by former President of the Court of Appeal Justice Ian Forte, has been mandated to present a report by the end of next month.

It is! A grand waste of time. Very disappointed in Peter Phillips. No investigation is needed. If they frigged up one just di odda day, then why should we trust the findings of this one, anyway?!?!

As Carolyn Gomes has told them, it has all been documented arready. The Minister need to put Jamaican people first and stop waste time and money with these silly "commissions of enquiry". PJ taught him well. Use the money and buy two body bag! Just 2, forgodsakes!

Was this fair enuff for you, Lazie?

It is a BLINKING WASTE of time and scarce $$$ - For one, they never adopt the suggestions of any of the million of Committees that they have appointed in the last 17 years. Those Committees are just a way of sweeping the matter under the carpet. A who dem a try fi fool, like them CARE!!

Next thing them will be forming a Committee to investigate the Committe findings!
