Experts: You Can't Break Your Own Spine Like Freddie Gray
The Baltimore Police Department’s leaked report claims that Freddie Gray intentionally broke his own spine while in custody. We spoke to experts to see if that is even possible.
On Wednesday night, The Washington Post leaked an alleged report from the Baltimore Police Department, which claims that Freddie Gray, the 21-year-old who died a week after his spine was fractured while in police custody, “was intentionally trying to injure himself” in the back of a Baltimore Police van.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Tough case fir Baltimore Police,Gray didn't say do not touch me(Eric Gardner),he wasn't wearing a hoodie(Travon Morris)and he wasn't video taped shoplifting. He killed himself when faced with the cinsequences if having a switch blade .
Vilifying the victims. If the officers involved are on paid suspension, they can't be the ones orchestrating the circumvention..
There is a need for a independent autopsy.

Better they had used the regular excuses ... "He was resisting!" or "He went for my gun!" Society always buy those 2 lies ... why fabricate another?

Look at the J'can police? Dem nuh change from what work ... "There was a shootout!!!" and we all buy it. All when no gun is found.

                "negligent homicide" ......

interesting combination. I suppose they are saying being in the custody of the agents of the state, the officers had a duty to protect him from harm, they breached that duty by behaviour which was in effect "the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought" ... I have a slight problem with that...as "malice aforethought" is a pre-requisite for homicide and this requires an intent to kill.

"negligent homicide" therefore sounds more like manslaughter.

It does. Maybe she figures that a murder charge will be very difficult to get a conviction on.

Check this from a blog ------- they essentially kidnapped a random guy off the streets, assaulted him, shackled him and drove him around for 45 more minutes, denying him medical care as he was dying. Then when he died, they waged a disinformation campaign to smear his name and slander him. Pretty horrific stuff.
