SIMPSON MILLER… could have shown more leadership in the NHT matter, but she chose to remain aloof.
I have no idea where the Jamaicans who consider themselves eternal optimists retire to after a longer day of working and trying to make an extra dollar than the day before.
I do not know how many of them still exist in this country and if their numbers are as large as they were in the early years following Michael Manley's win at the polls in early 1972, when a new burst of nationalism and socio-economic possibilities existed in the heart of a majority of Jamaicans, especially young adults.
