  • Race realtions getting worse , according to fox news

Its the president fault , what Obama presidency has done is highlight alot of racial disparity in the shitstem- the criminal and business , both being interrelated .Black people rioting and demonstrating to highlight police brutality isnt new, whats new is this sensitive approach by law enforcement .Holding back reaching out to communities through black leaders to find calm by addressing their concerns through the legal system and what you have is , the problem is the legal system in the black community, the perception is it doesnt give them a fair shake.

This seems to be a problem with the Foxers, they wish for the status quo to remain in most cases reinforced, a heavier hand , harsher sentences etc , and this is the pickle that they are in , those same standards of enforcement are not reserved to the minority comminuty, but the rednecks, militias, tea partyiers , white trash are targeted in this broad brush and this is where they lose their arguement, their own base revolt against the harsher reinforcement when they get caught in babylons web.

Its the presidents fault, that black people are finding their voice in the legal system, the criminal justice shitstem is on the verge of reform, be it slowly to be transparent and fair in addressing its racial disparity and the Foxes cant deal with it.

    Its the president fault.

For some rioting may be related to their frustration with the justice system.
However, we can not explain away the wanton & reckless looting & destruction of property. Rioting & stealing are crimes of opportunity, not a rebellion against injustice.

No easy fix, first of all the police must have a better relationship with the community.

The situation is much worse when you have extreme poverty & off the charts crime in a city like Baltimore. Boston, which has a long history of racial strife & animosity has not had a riot in recent times, and surprisingly no riots after MLK was assassinated. Every big city erupted when MLK was killed in 1968.

Boston police historically & the mayor's office has had a cordial relationship with the black community. Recently when a black man was killed by a cop, the chief called community leaders and had a forum where they were all showed the video of the killing. The killing appeared to be justified where a man shot a cop in the face, and his colleagues killed the shooter.

Gov't has had very little impact on reducing poverty, but it can develop
better relationships with communities that can mitigate any potential
conflicts when there is a questionable police action.

I heard an interview with Montell Williams this morning on the radio, and he revealed a startling statistic. He said that of the over 800,000 cases of domestic dispute that is reported annually in the USA, 60% are committed by police. I had to go look this up and the numbers seem to support his statement. As he points out that if a police officer can beat his spouse at home, then he feels much more powerful when he goes out on the road with a gun attached to his side to beat ordinary citizens.

Statistics show that 1 in 4 women in the US is a victim of domestic violence, those numbers jump to 1 in 2 if they are married to a cop.

                  May 7, 2014
Law Enforcement officers beat their significant other at nearly double the national average. Several studies, according to Diane Wetendorf, author of Police Domestic Violence: Handbook for Victims, indicate that women suffer domestic abuse in at least 40 percent of police officer families. For American women overall, the figure is 25 percent, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
According to The Advocates for Human Rights Organization, studies indicate that police families are 2-4 times more likely than the general population to experience domestic violence, making the potential for disparities in protective success particularly troubling.
