what is the genesis of this demise? lack of funding? where was the funding coming from? why has it stopped?

Specifically, what's the issue you have with JFJ?

They made mistakes, unfortunately they are paying the ultimate price for it.

Organizations that do good make mistakes all the time. Ever heard of the UNIA?

Glaring mistakes, unlike the UNIA where it was trumpt up to justify an agenda.

Well what is glaring and what is not depends on your perspective.

Many would argue that the UNIA made glaring mistakes, even though the cause was just and the attempt to bring them down was real.

It stopped because they cannot get their Charity status renewed. Very few organizations are going to give money and not expect a tax write off. They also had to refund money that was given to them on the condition that are a charity. They also owe back taxes retroactive to the date that their charity status had expired.

Shouldn't we thank a certain Raymond Price for pushing this?

I recall him in Parliament a while back questioning the charity status of some of 'these organizations'. Now I'm hearing the JFJ President saying based on changes in the Charities Act, they have to change some line about advocating for legislative changes ....

It is clear they are targeted for political reasons.
