When nonviolence is preached as an attempt to evade the repercussions of political brutality, it betrays itself. When nonviolence begins halfway through the war with the aggressor calling time out, it exposes itself as a ruse. When nonviolence is preached by the representatives of the state, while the state doles out heaps of violence to its citizens, it reveals itself to be a con.

I can agree with much that is being said, but be ye not superficial in dealing with it, in an effort to appear "fair and balanced" for the fox news demographic to say "although he is black he is being "fair" and so he is "not like the others" because that deflects the fact that there was a funeral for a man who was brutally beaten and eventually succumbed to his injuries by a white police office, no doubt because he was a "thug" and a "criminal" therefore the police could act as his judge jury and executioner.

the landscape is LITTERED with those high profile cases from FL to MO and now MD.

Malcolm X would say,do not stop suffering,just suffer peacefully(a sly dis to the non violence movement).
One of the most ridiculous statements came from the Vietnam war,we had to destroy the village in order to save it.
Whereas I am against the ill advised actions being carried out in Baltimore,Ferguson incident would be looong forgotten if the aftermath was not marked by mayhem.
Businesses have vested interest in deterring such unlawful acts by agents of the State.
