  • Rubio: ‘No doubt’ I’m more experienced than Obama was in ‘08

“There are some significant differences between his biography and mine,” Rubio told msnbc in an interview early Tuesday morning before flying to Washington to attend a congressional hearing on Iran. “We both served in the state legislatures, he as a back-bencher in the minority, me as the Speaker of House in the third-largest state in the country.”

He pointed out he will have served six full years in the Senate if he’s elected in 2016; President Obama had served four years when he was elected in 2008.

yeah yeah yeah .... but what is important is the calibre of the man. that experience was enough for Obama to be one of the best presidents in recent times ..... does Rubio have that? I doubt it .... not sure if there is any one out there on either side that is comparable.

Now that him done climb upon Obama's back, let him speak what he is for without mentioning Obama's name.

If we going to talk about experience, just give Hillary the damn keys to the White House and done!

Sound like you have an issue with that statement.

much better than the two Bushes, you can debate Reagan and Clinton if you want but what he is saying can be debated. Better than Carter and Ford. One of the best Presidents in recent history.

When I saw Gamma's post, I thought of following his warning him of Horti would take exception to his statement that Obama is one of the best presidents in recent times. Then I saw Horti's response. I said just three words. True to form.

Notice in his hurry to take his usual position against the man, he totally ignored two important words from the statement? Those words are "one of".

Obama's work is there for all to see and history will judge him as one of the best with his many accomplishments. Tbe Republicans, Tea Partiers, Hortis and the Rush Limbaughs cannot deny him.

Yes that is a fair assessment. Over the last 40 years only Clinton and Reagan come to mind.

We may not like Reagan but from a US-centric perspective he was very successful and was a transformative president in many ways.
