  • Here comes the con man...commin wid his con plan...

"With domestic pressure building, the White House is lending its "strong support for Jamaica's work to deal with a debt crisis" said another senior Obama advisor, Ricardo Zuniga.

Critics say Jamaica has been forced to adopt what the US-based Center for Economic and Policy Research called "the most austere budget in the world."

"Jamaica actually has a lower per capita GDP in 2015 than when Obama was elected more than six years ago,"

HERO PETER!!! Tun up di ting.

Obama should put an end to extreme austerity in Jamaica

President's official visit to the Caribbean nation should provoke a reassessment of disastrous IMF policies

The international media isn’t paying much attention to President Barack Obama’s trip to Jamaica this week, but maybe they should. The country has become a terrible example of what can happen when creditors — led by the International Monetary Fund — are able to impose harsh austerity on a small nation in an attempt to collect on an uncollectable debt. Because the U.S. Treasury Department decides what the IMF does in the Western Hemisphere, President Obama himself can claim responsibility for this crushing economic failure.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Xbox, let's say the IMF and WB forgive Jamaica of ALL its debt

Do you think the Jamaican govt. could keep the country in the black for generations to come?

      Thankx

From a political standpoint changing IMF conditionalities is an IMPOSSIBILITY for Obama. Politics is the art of the possible.... not fantasy.

The banking & business oligarchs who fund Obama and his Democrat party would DEFINITELY NOT support a debt write-off... So that kills that idea

This is WAAAAAYYYY bigger than just Obama and WAAAAAYYYY bigger than tinpot, bruk packit Jamaica

This is about not setting a 'BAD PRECEDENT" and maintaining THE ORDER

There's unfortunately no third way for Jamaica...that's a fantasy. Manley tried that long ago and was squashed like a Cockroach. Our way now is just to follow THE ORDER as best we can

Do you think the United States would have become the world leader it is today if she didn't benefit from 300 years of free labour?

                Thanks!

Yep, those with money sure have it. Those who don't have it...
