    Gov't expects 4.9 per cent growth by 2017/18

    GOVERNMENT expects the economy to grow by up to 4.9 per cent by the end of the 2017/18 fiscal year.

    The forecast is based on, among other things, an anticipated increase in the demand for Jamaican products, due to an uptick in global economic activities.
