    Vaz, who was facing corruption charges, today pleased not guilty and the witness in the case, Sergeant Jubert Llewellyn said he couldn't recall everything and would not be able to assist the prosecution.

    You would think a sergeant of the JCF would make a good witness,and he would rely on timely notes he made for recollection in a case of this magnitude.
    What we have is a case in which the prosecutor's case is being blantantly undermined,and by a decorated cop who sworn to be unwavering in the pursuit of justice.
    Clear evidence of undue influence which is the backbone of the case from day one.
    He is in contempt and so should join the suspects chained in the back,it has to be deterred.

      Who wanted him to recall anything?!?! Read from the notes he must have kept on the matter! What a farce! And the judge just mek it go suh?!?! Not even a reprimand?!?!?

        That may have been his best option. He said that he received a call from Vaz but the telephones records don't show the call from Vaz phone or to his phone!
        The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

              Maybe it was the arresting officers that called Forbes to assist the businessman..,or Forbes somply acted on his own.
