Constitutional lawyer Burt Samuels says based on today's landmark ruling in the Supreme Court that Andrew Holness' act of 'firing' two senators was illegal and as a result Ruel Reid and Clarke are now effectively ex Senators.

Technically they were never properly invested some lawyers are even saying

Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
