Subsidiary everyday symptoms of this disease we refuse to treat...

1. An emphasis on consuming products while creating virtually none... becoming what scripture refers to as accursed "Hewers of wood and drawers of water"

2. Lack of support for our own businesses in favor of enriching others by supporting theirs

3. Excessive consumption of and belief in Babylon media messaging AKA their self-serving propaganda

4. Not understanding the value of saving & investing and not teaching our offspring that value from 5-6 y.o. and onwards

5. Spending more time in playing ball and playing the fool than we do in studying

There are our core issues which assure our group failure... i.e. our backward & self destructive culture

No politician can fix that backward culture...the fixes lie with us at the household & community level yet virtually none of our so called leaders emphasize this. They mainly want to talk about Obama, Congress, voting and supporting whatever political action is the flavor of the moment

To point 1) I would add that the products of value that we do produce are usually sold off for peanuts to the " oppressor" and then we promptly turn around and cuss the "oppressor" for taking it off our hands and making a fortune with it.

Black people need to get over thier discomfort with wealth creation and accumulation unless it is earned on a stage or a sports field. If you are comfortable with poverty and uncomfortable with wealth, while your enemy is comfortable with wealth and uncomfortable with poverty you are going to lose the fight almost every time.
