Emails from the Sony hack revealed executives' racist comments about President Barack Obama and actor Kevin Hart

Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy, took to Twitter on Thursday to condemn an email exchange between a Sony Pictures executive and an Oscar-winning producer that was leaked during the recent hack.

In the emails, Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal and the producer, Scott Rudin, jokingly posited what President Barack Obama’s favorite movies might be, picking films that featured black characters like Django Unchained and 12 Years a Slave, BuzzFeed reports. The two were said to conclude, “I bet he likes Kevin Hart.”

Major respect to Shonda!

Shonda could easily have said something like, "White people watch my show too." You know, like Michael Jordan's concern about his shoes.

Will some white people tune off from Scandal and Commit Murder? Perhaps, but she is saying she don't give a damn! Call it what it is!

Now, if most of us wrote something like that in our company emails, we would be disciplined, most likely with dismissal. Why is the head of Sony still in her job?

Amy Pascal is also Jewish. She needs to pack her bags and go!

Apparently, Hero Sharpton has said the apology by Pascal is not sufficient and called for more minority hiring at Sony Pictures. I would love that to happen too, but she still needs to step!

Political correctness helps perpetuate racism in America. It is now common practice for acts of outright racism against blacks by whites to go unchecked by blacks in power because they don't want to rock the boat. Whites are allowed to make racist comments in public and get to keep their jobs by just making a public apology.
