KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Residents of West Kingston are heaping praises on the police for their recent efforts to host an entertainment event in the violence prone division.

The event dubbed 'Police/Citizens Link Up' was held on Friday at the Denham Town Police station.

"The event was one of the first of its kind in the Division and was aimed at building the relationship between the two groups," said Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor.
