The country continues to record a decline in murders.

Figures obtained by RJR News show that 799 persons have been killed since January.This is down from 966 during the corresponding period last year.

Investigators at the Kingston based National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) could not immediately speak to motive, but are mining the data to establish the chief reasons behind the disappearances.
Last year, 1,962 persons went missing, an average of 163 per month.

Anyway having 200 less "official" murders to be about or under 1000 for the first time in many years is wayyyy better than having the same ~1200 or more from last year ...Any way you slice it
