OPPOSITION leader the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) Andrew Holness is currently in England on a two-week visit during which he is expected to visit Jamaican communities and attend this week's annual conference of the British Conservative Party.

They are also expected to fulfil an invitation from the Conservative Party to attend the party's annual conference this week in Birmingham, which has a huge Jamaican Diaspora.

Obama and any US president becomes close to WHATEVER leader is head of the UK. Their strategic partnership REQUIRES that. Similarly Obama is forced to support Netanyahu (who is one step short of a terrorist) as the leader of a strategic US partner.

Both Democrats & Republicans assess those types of relationships as national strategic priorities... but you'll find neither of those leaders attending political party gatherings in either the UK or Israel

The JLP however is aligned at the PARTY LEVEL to the Conservative party in the UK and the Republican party in the US... that right wing party alignment has little or nothing to do with national strategic priorities
