Jamaica Moves from Stable to Positive

International credit rating agency, Standard and Poor’s (S&P), has improved its outlook on Jamaica from stable to positive.
The rating agency cites improvements in the country’s external liquidity, a return to economic growth and the Government’s success in meeting its fiscal targets under the four-year International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme as reasons for the upgrade.
