        Yeah,yeah yeah.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

                    From the 60s

                    http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ska

Also in the 60's in Latin America, Toño Quirazco, Mayte Gaos, Los Yorsy's, Los Socios del Ritmo (Mexico) The Four Coins and Los Diony in Venezuela, Ronnie Montalbán in Argentina, among other artists, versionaron vintage ska in Castilian that have been valued by many followers of Jamaican sound of this part of the world. The Four Coins with producer and musician Hugo Blanco, made arrangements topics as Shanty Town (called Good Luck) Soul Time (Rhythm of the Soul) I've been hurt (I'm hurt) Hold Me Tight (walking down the Street) and Los Dionys who made the classic Jamaica Ska which was also interpreted thus Quirazco as Montalbán, which is the genesis of Jamaican sound in these countries before the success that had the Ska 2 Tone (blue british beat) through the amalgamation between punk, new wave and classic ska which is when actually achieved massively Ska in the world thanks to the latter influence.

                    Mexican ska[edit]
Ska entered Mexico in the 1960s, when both small bands like Los Matemáticos and big orchestras like Orquestra de Pablo Beltrán Ruíz recorded both original ska tunes and covers of Jaimacan hits.[9] After early new wave bands of the early eighties like Dangerous Rhythm and Kenny and the Electrics incorporated Ska into their post-punk sound, a more punk influenced brand of Ska started being produced in Mexico City in the late eighties, and the genre enjoyed its highest popularity during the early 2000s, even though it is still very popular today. Mexican Ska groups include Panteon Rococo (Mexico City), La Maldita Vecindad (Mexico City), Mama Pulpa (Mexico City) and Tijuana No! (Tijuana, Baja California; originally named Radio Chantaje).

I posted a link of this elder Mexican man , who said he heard the music , took a trip to Ja to study it and brought it back to Mex, cant find it now. Will search its in spanish,if you like.

Here is the man who took Ska to Mexico, and this prompt me to ask, how come we do not have someone producing articles on a consistant basis about our culture in Jamaica?

Thats what kills me , the dismissal of our culture for all things forgein, its no coincidence the JTB would rather promote a Jazz/RB festival.
