Bail extended for accused fraudster in George Nook's case
THE bank employee who is accused of swindling over $12 million from George Nook's account is scheduled to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on October 27.
The accused — Abbey-Gaye Thompson, 27, of Savatri Road in Kingston 11 — who was employed at the Half-Way-Tree branch of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in St Andrew, is charged with larceny as a servant, forgery, uttering forged documents and falsification of accounts.
